Bouboulettes
Introduction to our bouboulettes
These wonderfully intense and satisfying pastries were developed by Nana, our baker, with the intention of creating a distinctively new taste experience that can be enjoyed around the world. Each 1½ by 1½ inch ‘bouboulette’ offers its own unique blend of pleasing yet unexpected flavors.
The Original Collection:
- Chocolate Cherry Chipotle – A shortbread-like cookie combined with the subtle flavors of dried cherries and chipotle pepper. It is filled with a moist cherry merlot center, then dipped in fine Belgian chocolate.
- Ginger Rosemary – Laced with a hint of rosemary, then filled with a moist, sweet ginger center and finished with coarse sugar crystals.
- Lavender Plum – A delicate blend of lavender and earl grey tea filled with a rich plum center, then glazed with white chocolate.
- Lemon Basil – Introduces the touch of fresh basil filled with a moist, very lemon center, then finished with a flourish of green frosting.
The Holiday Collection:
- Pecan Pie - A creamy toffee center surrounded by a moist, flaky crust and topped with a roasted pecan.
- Amaretto Cherry - Amaretto, toasted almonds and maraschino cherries are folded into our bouboulette pastry. Once baked, it is dipped in an intense syrup and topped with ground nuts.
- Apple Pie - A caramel apple filling wrapped with Nana's candied red pepper shortbread. Same fabulously flaky crust topped with sugar and spice.
- Dark English Fruitcake - A dark, moist cake is combined with nuts and premium fruits, then soaked in rum and spices for weeks.
